Bryant, AR — Bryant Youth Association (BYA) is proud to announce a new signature partnership with Relyance Bank to launch the Relyance Bank Jr. Mentor Program , an innovative leadership initiative designed specifically for 5th-grade students ready to take their first steps into mentorship and responsibility.
The Relyance Bank Jr. Mentor Program will empower young participants to grow as leaders by shadowing BYA mentors and staff, supporting and leading younger participants, and learning essential life skills such as empathy, accountability, and confidence. The program is designed to cultivate positive role models within the BYA community while reinforcing the importance of character, service, and leadership.
As the founding sponsor, Relyance Bank will play an active role in shaping and supporting the program beyond traditional sponsorship. In addition to serving as the primary program sponsor, Relyance Bank employees will have opportunities to serve as Mentor Coaches, assist with mentor activities and events, and participate in program kickoff and recognition ceremonies.
“This partnership is about more than just a name on a program — it’s about investing in the next generation of leaders, ” said Andre White, Program Director of Bryant Youth Association . “The Relyance Bank Jr. Mentor Program gives students the opportunity to step up, serve others, and discover the confidence that comes from being a role model for younger kids. We’re grateful to Relyance Bank for believing in our mission and helping us build something that will have a lasting impact.”
The values at the heart of the Jr. Mentor Program aligns closely with Relyance Bank’s commitment to community engagement and character development. The initiative emphasizes dependability, trustworthiness, and service — qualities that reflect both strong leadership and strong financial stewardship.
“At Relyance Bank, we believe in supporting the communities we serve in meaningful ways, ” said Linda James, AVP Regional Branch Administrator of Relyance Bank . “The Jr. Mentor Program reflects the very principles we stand for — being dependable, supportive, and someone others can rely on. We are honored to partner with Bryant Youth Association to help young people develop leadership skills that will serve them for a lifetime.”
Together, Bryant Youth Association and Relyance Bank are setting the foundation for a program that not only builds young leaders but strengthens the entire community.
